On Friday February 19th the jazz duo 2jazzguitars, Barry Glick and Jim Putman, came in for a photo session. We had some fun, a few laughs and made a nice selection of images as they played a few licks and posed for the camera. Post processing done with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop I added the frame with OnOne Software’s Photoframe 4.5. Here is one of the outtakes from the shoot.
Took a break this afternoon and went out for a ride on my motorcycle. As I was riding past Bald Peak State Park (1,629′ elev.) a beautiful view of Mount Hood caught my eye. I pulled into the park, stopped and removed an old Nikon D70s w/18-200mm, that goes with me on rides, from one of my saddle bags. I shot a few frames with a panoramic image in mind. When I back home I use Photoshop CS4 to stitch this pano together and exported through Zoomify.
Images captured data: 150mm, 1/320sec, F/11, iso 200
I got the opportunity to shoot a few images of the Women’s Club Sport Volleyball Tournament last weekend at The Courts in Beaverton, Oregon. I used my Nikon D300, Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 lens and Sandisk digital film. Post processing was done with Lightroom 2, Photoshop CS4 and Nik Software plug-ins. Images got a contrast adjustment, tone adjustment, a bit of film grain and a very slight vignette.
