We photographed models wearing the 2011 LooptWorks clothing line. The images from the shoot are of the 2011 line so for now they are hiding in the fog behind the trees. Here are a couple location shots from the day though that is all we are showing for now.

We were brought in to photograph models wearing the LooptWorks clothing line; the images will be used to update the LooptWorks web site and for retail use. Media Maison is a Portland, Oregon based boutique Public Relations and Marketing firm and LooptWorks is a Portland, Oregon based company that looks for material thrown out as excess and figures out how to use it to make innovative products they work to break the cycle of waste. Once we have approval for release we’ll post an image or two from the shoot.

As I was riding past Bald Peak State Park (1,629′ elev.) a beautiful view of Mount Hood caught my eye. I pulled into the park, stopped and removed an old Nikon D70s w/18-200mm, that goes with me on rides, from one of my saddle bags. I shot a few frames with a panoramic image in mind. When I back home I use Photoshop CS4 to stitch this pano together and exported through Zoomify.

I used my Nikon D300,  Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 lens and Sandisk digital film. Post processing was done with Lightroom 2, Photoshop CS4 and Nik Software plug-ins. Images got a contrast adjustment, tone adjustment, a bit of film grain and a very slight vignette.

And a wonderful salmon gourmet dinner was provided by Portland’s A Vibrant Table. Here are a few photos from the fun filled evening.

Made a nice loop up the Oregon Coast Sunday. Started by heading west on 99W out of Tigard, OR towards McMinnville, OR and road HWY 18 out to Lincoln City. Made a short detour turning left on North Bear Creek Road to the Drift Creek Covered Bridge (44.993234,-123.88664) then on into Lincoln City. After a short break I headed north up HWY 101 traffic wasn’t to bad after getting out of Lincoln City. Got caught behind some school buses near Hebo, OR but was able to get around them after a few miles when a passing section opened up the road. Beautiful weather until it started cooling off about Rockaway Beach dropping to 60 degrees and by Canon Beach it had clouded up so headed west on HWY 26 back toward Portland I didn’t feel 70 degrees again until I was almost to Banks. All in all a nice ride just over 250 miles; here are a couple photos made around Lincoln City on the ride.
