Spent the week­end updat­ing our web­site with the help of The Turn­ing Gate Web Devel­op­ment Plu­g­ins TTG Stage CE, TTG Pages and TTG Auto Index CE. Our web­site now bet­ter sup­ports our mobile com­mu­nity with non Flash gal­leries and where we still use Flash these gal­leries are acces­si­ble to mobile phones and other mobile devices. I have test our new look on Droid X, Black­berry and iPhone phones and the site looks great on them.  I have incor­po­rated a bet­ter proof­ing sys­tem, right from our home page, for our client with pass­word pro­tec­tion as an option too. We wel­come your feed­back and watch for more cool fea­tures to come. We’re bet­ter today and The Turn­ing Gate has made it easier.

Family Photo Session

On Sat­ur­day Octo­ber 30th we pho­tographed a lovely young fam­ily in Portland’s Indus­trial area. We had a great time and cap­tured some beau­ti­ful images for them and were even able to fin­ish up just before the rain began falling on this beau­ti­ful fall morn­ing. Out Riding With Friends

Out rid­ing with my bud­dies Ger­ald and Todd on Sun­day August 1st; we met for break­fast and some con­ver­sa­tion in Van­cou­ver, WA. Our ride took us on back roads over to Long Beach for lunch. We had beau­ti­ful weather most of the way though got a bit cold when we hit Hwy 101; 59 degree on the 1st of August. It was a fun spir­ited ride of just over 350 miles; here is photo made in Long Beach where we stopped for lunch at the Crab Pot.

Family Visiting from Hawaii

July 14th through the 17th we had a visit from some of my wife Rene’s fam­ily includ­ing her grand­mother, mom and old­est sis­ter from Hawaii and her sis­ter and their old­est from Issaquah. We had a great time vis­it­ing some prime Port­land loca­tions; this shot was taken at the Rose Gar­den in Wash­ing­ton Park.

2011 Line for Looptworks

On Thurs­day the 8th of July did a com­mer­cial photo shoot for Loopt­Works on the Ore­gon coast; we shot on the Cape Look­out Trail. We pho­tographed mod­els wear­ing the 2011 Loopt­Works cloth­ing line. The images from the shoot are of the 2011 line so for now they are hid­ing in the fog behind the trees. Here are a cou­ple loca­tion shots from the day though that is all we are show­ing for now.

Graduation Day – Congratulations Jenica

On Mon­day June 14th our daugh­ter Jenica grad­u­ated from The Uni­ver­sity of Ore­gon, “Con­grat­u­la­tions,” with a BS in Jour­nal­ism.
